A Membership Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on October 31, 2023 at Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Department.

Those present were Company 70 members, Page County Supervisor for district 5 Jeff Vaughan, Shenandoah Mayor Clinton Lucus Jr., Shenandoah Councilman Michael Lowe, and members from Lams Construction. Bobby Comer and Kenneth Good, two of Company 70’s oldest members were on hand for the ceremony and performed the duty of cutting the ribbon.

Lams Construction just finished the 5600 square foot, five-bay expansion to the fire station on Pennsylvania Avenue in Shenandoah. They started construction back in April of this year.

There will be a public ribbon cutting ceremony taking place in the spring of 2024.
