Dear Shenandoah Rec League, Thank you for the love you have shown to not only our family but also to our dad/husband/grandfather. For over 30 years, he devoted his life to this league and to the youth of this community. He was very passionate about the game that he loved so much, and all the players he coached. I know he would be very humble by the recognition, and let’s face it probably a little mad about the fuse that was made. He loved those ball fields very much and put many, many hours of hard work (more than any of us will ever know) into them. So, thank you to the amazing volunteers who is keeping the tradition and pushing forward to make our league one of the best around. The fields and improvements look amazing, and I know he would be super proud. Thank you all again for everything! The family of Roy Cardin
