The Town of Shenandoah will not be hosting their usual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony this year. Tree lighting Ceremony at Big Gem Park on Dec 12th will be drive thru. The tree will be lit at 6 p.m., Christmas Music will be playing, Santa will be on the fire truck at the Big Gem Park and traffic will be directed up next to the truck - one vehicle at a time - where parents/kids may step out and snap a photo with their own phone/camera with Santa in the background and receive a pre-packaged cookie and candy cane (while supplies last). Park is decorated for the holidays. Weather permitting of course. Winners of the Christmas Lights contest will be posted at Big Gem Park. See picturs below.
