Fields Methodist Church Cemetery Cleanup - This cemetery is located on right as you are coming across the river bridge at Maryland Ave/Morrison Rd.
There are many communities across the country forming Cemetery Clubs to maintain aging cemeteries whose descendants no longer exist to care for them. Please join us to assist in the preservation of this cemetery. This is a deep sign of respect for those citizens who gave their time, labor, and industry to make the Town of Shenandoah possible.
There will be a clean up to help preserve the Town’s historic cemetery. Ideally we want to get all brush cut back, invasive plants and tombstones uncovered from plant invasion.
There are many of the Town of Shenandoah’s founders, prominent business owners and many Veterans of all wars. What better way to show respect for your ancestors?
The cemetery cleanup is scheduled for Saturday April 7, 2018 (Rain Date April 14).
Please come and join us and bring your weed eaters, pruning shears, grass shears and any other lawn equipment you may deem essential.
