Did you know that Page County High School has a Robotics Team? They do, and PanTech Team 3872 competes in the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Robotics Competitions. FIRST Robotics is the Varsity Sport for the Mind
PanTech’s first season was 2011 and their team won the Rookie Inspiration Award and the Top Seed Rookie Award.
Each year the Page County High School FRC Robotics Team #3872 is tasked to design and build a robot to complete mission tasks for a competition. The entry fee for the competition is $5,000 and we need another $5,000 or more for parts, tools and logistics. This competition helps students understand science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and business in an authentic mode. The team has to fund the project and then bring the project to successful completion on time and within the budget.
