My heart... the entire thing... these kids have it.
As I sit here on the bus on our way home from Richmond, I hear the giggles coming from the back of the bus. What a magical time to sit here and reflect.
When I started in June I had no idea where this journey would take me. I was on the path to find myself again. I needed these kids, just as much as they need me. We cried, we fought, we had more doubt then I want to admit, we had such negative things said to us, we were told we can't do it, everyone was waiting for them to continue to fail.
Then suddenly it all changed. We believed, we turned doubt into faith, we believed, we took all the words and turned it into fuel, and most importantly we loved. They took each other's hand and created a family that is unmatched.
The fight of 14 was so real! This journey has been the most incredible one I have ever been on. These kids are amazing!
Tonight, I watched my babies compete for the final time this season and I am beyond blessed God guided me to this exact moment. As they were catching their breath after second round... I asked one question... Are you proud of what you have done? With tear filled eyes they answered YES in unison. This was a goal I set on day one, create something my kids, school, and community could be proud of.

thank you for having so much faith in us. For taking time to come cheer us on! The kind messages, the goodie bags, and most importantly your love and support. Y'all have brought tears to my eyes every time I look up into those stands!
Parents,
thank you for raising such incredible children! They are so kind, strong, and compassionate. Thank you for trusting me along this journey! Thank you for everything you have done this season, I will be forever grateful!
My Comeback Kats,
I cannot thank you enough for this season. You put your heart and soul into every step of our journey. You are incredible! I will never be able to find the exact words to express how proud I am of each of you! Senior babies, thank you! You are truly the most amazing kids! You are leaving this team by relighting the fire of this program! Underclassmen, This comeback season set the future of this program, don't you ever settle for one second! We aren't finish!
You broke every mold you have been pushed into. I am so blessed to be your coach!
I love you to the moon and back 14 times.
