Happy 5th Birthday Shenandoah Newz! Wow, it seems like it was yesterday when Shenandoah residents & Cohost Kirk Comer & Amos Thomas started the Newz. We would like to thank all fans for reading our post and website articles. We would also like to thank every one for sending us information to post, especially the ladies at the Shenandoah Town Hall. We are flattered when we receive comments from folks, that they think Shenandoah Newz is a real business news agency! Another comment we hear a lot is people believe Shenandoah Newz is run by the Town of Shenandoah. Shenandoah Newz is only a hobby, that Kirk & Amos post events when they have spare time in their busy schedules, as both of them have full time jobs in Harrisonburg. We always welcome comments to all articles and encourage everyone to post announcements/events of their own on our Facebook page. Archie just recently celebrated his 90 the birthday, and would like to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes he received on Shenandoah Newz! Our birthday cake was created by Frances at the Shenandoah Grocery and she even escorted the cake out to our awaiting vehicle!
