Shenandoah Newz was started in 2010 as a Facebook page to share news about the Town of Shenandoah and surrounding areas.
After a year of updating and sharing news on Facebook, we saw a strong need for a website where more detailed articles and non-Facebook users could utilize.
The Shenandoah Newz website is currently updated by Amos Thomas and Kirk Comer when they have time to write and post articles. The Newz is only a hobby and they simply enjoy sharing some news with visitors of their website.
Both Amos and Kirk work full time jobs, enjoy spending time with their families and are also active volunteering in our community.
Our town is truly blessed with many good people and interesting stories.

Is Shenandoah Newz run by the Town of Shenandoah?
No, Shenandoah Newz is not run by the town. We do get a lot of our news stories and announcements from the Shenandoah Town Hall. The Town of Shenandoah maintains their own Facebook, Instagram and website pages.
Where can I find your videos?
Since we rearraigned our website some things have been moved around and are in new locations. On our old site, we used to have a video tab among our other main menu tabs on our home page. Now you can now find all of our videos at the You Tube icon at the top right corner of our home page.
