It was such a beautiful day, that we decided to get out and take some pictures around town today. On First Street we saw two Union Pacific Locomotives displaying the American Flag. At the North Side Diner they have reserved parking for Military Veterans. Jenkins Computer Services is announcing Class 86 Reunion. There is Cub Scout sign up at the Shenandoah Elementary School. The school is also promoting it was the number one school for raising money for Relay for Life this year! The Shenandoah Rescue Squad wants to remind everyone to display their house numbers clearly on their homes. On the Shenandoah Grocery sign, they are promoting that someone has 50 acres for sale. At the 7 eleven in town, workers are installing a new awning over the gas pumps. On a sad note, we saw where the Rolling Pin has closed. Although it is not in town, we drove over and took a picture of the beautiful pond and waterfall on Route 602 next to the turn off to Bloomer Springs Road. Please share with family and friends and let them know what’s happening in and around our little town of Shenandoah!
