On Saturday May 25, 2013, the Shenandoah Ashlar Lodge 125 sponsored a Child ID program (VACHIP) as part of Shenandoah’s sixteenth consecutive annual Memorial Day Festival. This year they were located in the KVK parking lot next to the car/Truck & Tractor show. You may be wondering what is VACHIP. Well VACHIP is the Virginia Child Identification Program. It is one of the most comprehensive Child Recovery, Identification, and Abduction Awareness programs ever to be offered to parents in the state of Virginia. Since 2004, Freemasons from various state jurisdictions in the United States and in several Canadian Provinces have sponsored Masonic CHIP events.
