This afternoon the Shenandoah Indians hosted the Harrisonburg Tigers at Stonewall Memorial Park in Elkton. It was a good close game between two evenly matched teams. At times it got very physical, and if you don’t believe me, ask the first baseman for the Harrisonburg Tigers. Thankfully, no one was injured in the collision at first base! With the game tied at 3, the Indians won the game (4-3) in the bottom of the ninth on a wild throw from Harrisonburg’s catcher to their third baseman. Shenandoah improved their record to 4 wins and 3 losses. Next Sunday July 12th, the Indians travel to Shenandoah County Park to play the Woodstock Raiders. Game time is 2pm.
