Let’s step back in time for a minute, back when the only mode of transportation was the horse and buggy. Back then there were no stop lights or asphalt roads in town. Now let’s imagine it’s getting late in the day and you are making that long journey back home in your horse and buggy. You have been traveling several miles over very rough roadways, and you can hardly wait to get home. As you round a bend in the roadway you come across something new, to your surprise, someone has put down fresh cement under a railroad trestle that you have to go thru. Well, that is what might have happened at the railroad trestle near the Shenandoah boat landing. Thanks Mike. We appreciate story suggestions from our fans.
