The Town of Shenandoah has already started using their new VER-MAC Portable Message Boards. The signs are currently displaying notices about Christmas in Big Gem Park on October 24 & 25 Free Music, Arts & Crafts 10am to 5pm each day. The town purchased 4 of these signs with CARES Act Funds as an eligible expense under the Federal guidelines. Unused funds has to be returned to the Federal Government after December 31st. The main purpose will be to display COVID-19 and other health/community info messages. The signs will be located at each entrance to the Town (340 N/S and 602 E/W). All 4 paid for by the CARES Act Funds.
