Congratulations Mark Armentrout, 40 years and counting at Shenandoah Public works!

Mayor, Council, Employees, and Citizens appreciate that Mark has always been here whenever we need him!

Whether it be clearing the streets during snow, unclogging a stopped up sewer or to repairing a water line for our continued fresh water, Mark does an excellent job of taking very good care of our community!

We often hear what went wrong, but forget to say thank you for what goes right. Day after day, time after time, Mark gives up nights and weekends to tend to a citizen in need of a public works concern to the best of his ability.

One Example: If there is a major storm that knocks down trees, etc., Mark and his crew come out in the storm to help clear streets, etc. and when we wake in the morning we never realize what it took the night before to allow us to proceed about our daily routines. Mark and his crew keep us up and running truly through sleet, snow, and rain, we can often go about our normal life because of Mark and public works.

Special events include many days of prep work no one better than Mark in charge of making sure it all gets done!

As a small Town, they pay is not comparable to other areas, but after 40 years experience, we are all very fortunate Mark continues his employment and his above and beyond service to our Town and Community. He truly cares about our Town and we can only hope for 40 more! Juanita Roudabush, Assistant Town Manager/MMC Town of Shenandoah.
