On December 11th students from the Shenandoah Elementary School Choir sang Christmas Carols in the lot adjacent to the town hall building on First Street. The Choir was directed by music teacher Betsy Bechtel Hulveyl. Members of the Christ United Methodist Church was on hand serving hot chocolate and cookies. Afterwards everyone walked up and down Front Street enjoying the decorated storefronts and the six Christmas trees that were decorated by Shenandoah Elementary School students. The storefronts were decorated by art students from Page County High School, under the direction of Page High School art teacher Ashley Creech. We would like to thank all the volunteers whom came together and created this one of a kind special event for our town.
