Just wanted to remind everyone about The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association arrival in town on Saturday. Please note that their route has changed this year (coming down 340 from Elkton) and it will take place rain or shine!
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA 27-2) will arrive in Town of Shenandoah (Page Count) this Saturday, July 29th approximately 12:30 to 12:45 p.m.ish on their annual ride, which raises money for injured Virginia Veterans and their Family Support Programs.
300 to 400 motorcycles are expected to travel into Town by way of 33 to 340 North into the Town of Shenandoah (Page County); they will turn left onto Maryland Avenue; right onto First Street; right onto Virginia Avenue travel past Veterans Park; then turn right onto 340/4th Street; left onto Maryland Avenue; left on 11th Street to the VFW in the Town of Shenandoah (Page County Virginia).
We ask citizens to stand along the route to wave them on as they pass through Town.
(NOTE: Their exact route states they leave Fredericksburg at 11 a.m. and it takes 1 hour and 51 minutes to arrive at Shenandoah VFW, but there could be traffic delays (or not) that could change this timing somewhat. Therefore, those desiring to stand along the route to wave/welcome them into Town may want to be in place, standing along the route, by not later than 12:15 to 12:30 p.m.)
