Just passing on an announcement from the Shenandoah VFW Post 8613: Busy week ahead with about 400+ graves needing flags placed in remembrance of our veterans. Janet Stewart will begin Monday with some of the smaller cemeteries in Stanley, followed by the remainder in Stanley and Shenandoah on Tuesday. Anyone wishing to help please message her or call to arrange a time. Wednesday we are asking our veterans and auxiliary to meet at the VFW at 9:00 am to do Rest Haven Coverstone and the cemetery on 602. God bless all of our veterans as we pay homage to the fallen.
