This week we drove around town and discovered more new homes are being built.

In June of this year, we saw three new homes being built on Trenton Avenue in Shenandoah. We have now found three more new homes being constructed in town.  At the intersection of North Fourth Street and Junior Avenue we found two new homes under construction.

Heading west on Warren Avenue, we found a new home being built on the left side of the street.

Shenandoah’s Public Works Team has been busy lately working in Big Gem Park. We were informed that Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative has installed a new power line over to the picnic shelter and the Public Works Team has been busy burying a new electrical line over to the pump in Big Gem Pond. They have also been busy enlarging the parking lot and repositing the Gazebo. They still are working around the Gazebo area.

The Public Works Team also have moved the swing set from its original location in the woods behind Big Gem Pond. They have relocated the swing set up to the left of the playground equipment. They are still working on the swing set project and recently cemented the poles in the ground.
