Once you start, you find that you always want to do it. Some stay up until the wee hours of the nights doing this while other may take trips outside their community in order to pursue this hobby. Have you ever wondered who were your great great grandparents, and where did they come from? Ever wonder if you had any ancestors that fought in the Civil War, War of 1812 or the American Revolution? You can learn the basics of researching your ancestors by attending the workshops by the DAR at the Shenandoah Computer Center.
