I would like to introduce everyone to Festus. Festus is a very friendly donkey that lives on Fleeburg Road, near the intersection of Back Road. His owners tell us that Festus is very popular with the local Fleeburg community. We heard that he likes french fries but does not like hot dogs! We discovered how friendly Festus was back in March of this year when we were out taking pictures after a recent snow. Friends of Festus on our Facebook page, had this to say about him:
- Emily-Way to go Festus!!! You should see him run around with a tarp!!
- Tiffany-My neighbor and alarm clock! He likes carrots too.
- Melody-I bet Uncle Jack is so proud of Festus!
- Krystal-I saw you out there earlier. My son loves when we go by & he is making noises.
- Lisa-Jessika, Our donkey friend made it to FB! Miss our walks to go see him! Hi Festus!
- Suzy-He is soo pretty. I need to go get a look. Aww.
- Emily-I love this donkey!
- Tiffany-Famous Festus & I in our very own picture at our family Christmas dinner this past year! Isn’t he the cutest? She posted a picture of Festus and her together.
- Patricia-My husband's horse and Festus yell hello at each other whenever he rides by.
