Everyday we ride past the former Grove Hill Elementary School. We slow down as the speed limit changes to 45 miles per hour. We notice the flashing speed limit signs are gone. We see the gates closed and locked. We see no cars in the parking lot. We hear the gymnasium is being used for storage of unwanted furniture. We look at the former school as we drive by understanding the reasons why the school was shut down and then in the same thought wonder what the future will be for the facility that educated so many of our children over the years?
The facility is in great shape, has plenty of parking, a recently renovated playground, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, rest rooms, multiple rooms, offices and more. Please leave a comment below with your suggestion on what you think should happen with this facility.
