Autumn in Shenandoah Photo contest has concluded and the winner is Nancy Karnes. Nancy's winning photo was Fog on the Shenandoah River. Her photo is on the cover of Autumn in Shenandoah 2016 Calendar. The monthly winners are; Joyce Fluharty, Charlie Jenkins, Mary Ellen Smith, and John Borus. Nancy received a $20 Gift Certificate to Mamma Mia’s Restaurant in Shenandoah and the Runners up will receive printing service coupons for the Shenandoah Computer Center. The calendars are $15 each or 2 for $25 and are available at the Shenandoah Town Hall or Shenandoah Computer Center. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be used for future upgrades to the Computer Center. We would like to thank everyone that entered our contest!
Announcement: Photo Contest - Autumn in Shenandoah
Shenandoah Newz is excited to announce that we have teamed up with the Town of Shenandoah and are sponsoring a photo Contest Autumn in Shenandoah Everyone is invited to enter, but photos must have been taken in 2015 & within the Town’s Corporate limits. Please see attached poster. Rules and registration form can be found below. Shenandoah is a very beautiful town this time of year with the transformation of the fall foliage. The Shenandoah Beautification Committee always does an excellent job decorating our welcome signs and placing scare crows throughout the town. Residents also are busy decorating their yards with various autumn themes.
