Shenandoah’s Mamma Mia’s Italian Restaurant awarded the Retail/Service Business of the year award at Luray Page County Chamber of Commerce 90th annual banquet that was held on Thursday November 3, 2016.
Accepting the award for Hospitality Business of the Year was Romeo Pugliese of Mamma Mia’s Italian Restaurant in Shenandoah. The name alone inspires locals and visitors looking for authentic Italian dishes and tourists are known to stop in for wine or a meal and to learn from the enthusiastic staff about other places and exciting attractions in Page County. Said the board of director’s 2017 treasurer Lillard. Offering knowledge, maps, and brochures of the area, the owners and employees also act as unofficial visitor guides when the regular Visitors Center isn’t open.
