Folks, as many of you may have heard already, our hometown grocery is going out of business on June 1, 2019. We would like to thank Larry & Elaine Sullivan and Mike and Beth Sullivan for 40 years of service to our small town of Shenandoah. Below is a message from Juanita Roudabush, Shenandoah’s Town manager. We need every one to please share this post in an effort to spread the word that Shenandoah will soon be needing a grocery store.
”As you may be aware, after 40 years of faithful service to the community, the Shenandoah Grocery Owners are going out of business as of June 1, 2019. We will miss them and wish them well in their retirement and future pursuits.
If you all know of anyone interested in another IGA (or any other grocer) at the soon to be vacant complex on 340 in the Town of Shenandoah (South Third Street), please let me know or pass this information on to them:”

11,024 square foot area (where current Shenandoah Grocery is located)
5,300 square foot area (where Family Dollar Store was located)
3,000 square foot area (where Hardware Store was located)
19,324 square foot total available now - can be reconfigured to be used as a whole or separate units

In 1979 two brothers decided to buy into their hometown grocery store. And so began their 40 year journey of serving their community.

on June 1st.
