The Town of Shenandoah has several parks for your visiting pleasure. There is Big Gem Park, Wig-Wam Village Park, Veterans Park, Shenandoah River Park, Shenandoah Dog Park & the Railroad Pocket Park across from the Town Office on First Street.
Today's venture took us to Shenandoah's Veterans Park on Virginia Avenue and the Shenandoah River Park & Landing on Morrison Road in Shenandoah.
While visiting Shenandoah Veterans park, we were pleasantly surprised to see all the beautiful flowers in bloom! From the February 25th Town Council Meeting, they are obtaining quotes to see what it would cost to expand Veterans park in order to install more veterans bricks.
Our second park we visited today was the Shenandoah River Park & Landing. While there we had several photogenic opportunities with the ducks and baby geese.
