Come out to the open house at the computer center on Friday March 6, 2015 and help them celebrate their 10th anniversary! The open house hours are 5 to 7pm. Welcome to the Shenandoah Community Computer Center! The computer center opened in March 2005. We came into being as the result of a USDA Broadband Grant award. The computer center was supported entirely by the grant for two years. The town now supports the center as a service to the community. The computer center offers high speed internet access and unlimited use for $12.00 per year. We also have printing services to fulfill all your needs, We print documents, photos, brochures, business cards, letterhead, newsletters and much more. We also offer binding and laminating services. The computer center also offers many classes for a nominal fee year round. Please stop in or call to inquire about how we may help you. We have two volunteer instructors: Bruce Arnold and Gary Patterson. The computer center employs one full time and one part time associate. Joyce Fluharty is the Computer Center Supervisor, Betty Knowles is the Administrative Assistant. Betty Knowles also serves as a volunteer Assistant Instructor. We can be reached at 540-652-8773. |
