Wow, another great Memorial Day Ceremony at the VFW Post this morning! Each year you leave from the ceremony saying "this was the best one yet" This year was no exception! Another great program put on by the mayor, town staff, and the VFW Post 8613. This year the guest speaker was Percy J. Hodnett. He gave a moving speech about the men missing in action from the Korean War. Musical performances by Bill Kite and Monica Brewer. This year Mr. Gerald Rinaca was recognized as the oldest VFW member. A special tribute Spec. Levi E. Nuncio, a Shenandoah resident whom died in battle last year in Afghanistan.
