Our service members have to perform in very hot conditions, so did the participants, volunteers and spectators for yesterday’s Bull Run III Motorcycle cavalcade. It was an extremely hot day with temperatures in 90’s as the Town of Shenandoah and the VFW Post 8613 welcomed The Combat Vets Motorcycle Association 27-2 Bull Run III. Chapters from Southwest Va and NC also participated in the cavalcade. This was Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association fundraising ride for the Virginia Wounded Warrior Project. The veterans were escorted thru town by Shenandoah Police Department and Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Company. Approximately 300 motorcycles passed under Old Glory which was hoisted above the cavalcade of veterans by Tower 1 from Luray and Truck 80 from McGaheysville Virginia.
