The Avis O. Comer VFW Post 8613 in Shenandoah held its 6th annual Car Truck & Motorcycle Show on Sunday September 3, 2017 from 2 to 5pm to benefit the veterans. It was originally scheduled for Saturday September 2nd, but due to the rain, it was moved to Sunday. Free Dash Plaques was given to the First 25 registered vehicles. There were a lot of items in their Chinese auction. They had a 50/50 and a $100 drawing and several door prizes were given away. Food was prepared by the ladies’ auxiliary inside the post. Trophies were giving out to three vehicles and three motorcycles.
