All over the USA baseball honors the military. Here in the Town of Shenandoah volunteers are working towards rebuilding Veterans Memorial Stadium, but in a new location (Big Gem Park in Shenandoah). The stadium was built in 1950 after World War II was over to honor the veterans who gave their life fighting for you and I. The stadium was destroyed by fire in 1987 and we lost a landmark the proudly represented our town.
