Update about Jade & Grace Salon as of March 12, 2024. We drove by where they used to be located on First Street and saw that they had closed down their business. Their Facebook page has not been updated to reflect the current status of their business.

The building at 700 Tenth Street and Maryland Avenue in Shenandoah Va. that housed Roy Comers gas station is now for sale. This is an on-line auction. The bidding for this auction will close at 1:00 PM February 17 with a two-minute auto extend.
Large Donation to Wigwam Village in Memory of Dave Hinkle

From the January 12, 2021 Shenandoah Town Council minutes, we saw the following announcement under item 10.
“Heard a large donation to the Wigwam Village was made in memory of Dave Hinkle. This donation, along with the Page Alliance for Community Action Grant through Healthy Communities, will almost pay for Phase III of the playground equipment replacement. Fundraising is now underway for the next phase.”
