Remember back in the seventies when go kart racing was popular? There was a track off 340 just south of Elkton, and another one in Harrisonburg. Pictured below are some members of the Roudabush Team, Eddie and Donnie at the Harrisonburg dirt track. Pictures taken July 1979 by Amos Thomas. Years later there was a commercial go Kart fun track in front of the Shen Elk plaza, next to the little league fields in Elkton.
