The rivers are flowing well this spring and fisherman have been reporting good catches all across the state. We all remember not so long ago things were not as pleasant in our rivers as we watched truckloads of Smallmouth Bass and Redbreast Sunfish die and float down the river. The fish kills have not been forgotten.
Our Shenandoah Riverkeeper, Jeff Kelble, recently sent out a press release for 2013 regarding life after the Shenandoah River fish kills.

Robbie Comer with a nice state citation 22" smallmouth bass he caught and released from our own South Fork of the Shenandoah River this year.
